The Brooklyn Eagle talked to David Maundrell, the president of real estate agency AptsandLofts.com, to get the scoop on a weird black condo at 375 Menahan. Two of the six units are in contract, and the Eagle touts this as some kind of trend for Bushwick, due to our well-priced condos. It’s true that Bushwick property is approaching sensible pricing in the after-bubble economy, but is $450/sqft really that much of a deal four L stops into Bushwick? Yes, four — contrary to Maundrell’s assertion, the DeKalb L is not “around the corner,” the Myrtle-Wyckoff LM is. I do wish them luck, and it is a nice block, despite that one building that looks like it got blasted with a bazooka full of tar.

Oh.
