Most of Bushwick’s galleries are usually only open on weekends or by appointment, and being scattered around the area, can be difficult to navigate. Norte Maar and sponsor ArtCal are giving you some guidance in the form of “Bounce That Beat: Bushwick Art Spaces Stay Open Late.” Friday, Feb. 13, a handful of galleries, both conventional and of the living room variety, will be open from 6 to 10pm to allow “the public to see real art in real time.” And they are more or less on one simple route.

My favorite local gallery, Pocket Utopia, is participating along with Factory Fresh, English Kills, Privateer, Centotto, and of course, Norte Maar.
