$1750 — loft: Nice, bright loft in Morgantown with decent facilities, huge windows, and lots of space. Enjoy cute (and good) new Cafe Orwell down the block.

$825 — studio: Maybe the agent is 90, so to her, 1987 is a “recent” renovation. This place is probably small and cruddy, but for $825, you can spruce it up yourself. I’m also guessing this is on the Bed-Stuy side of Broadway, but as I have said before, if you’re living here, yours will be a Bushwick life.

$1275 — 2br rr: This is cheap and in acceptable shape, in a decent location between both train lines.
PETS OK | Jefferson St and Evergreen | street view | Myrtle JM/Morgan L
$1500 — 2br: Very nice work done on this place, with a few original details like the floors and some moldings intact, and the rest more or less tastefully “transitional.” One of the bedrooms even has its own bathroom. Not much neighborhoodwise, and I’d knock $50 off this price at least, but this is a solid apartment.
PETS OK | Bleecker and Central | street view | Knickerbocker M
$2600 — loft: I thought I’d list this just because it’s a rare product — I do think it’s several hundred dollars too expensive. This old warehouse was converted to condos a few years ago and is very nice and spacious inside, with lots of windows and amazing views. Everything is brand-new, so don’t come looking for character.
PETS OK | Wyckoff and Hart | street view | DeKalb L
Bushwick wannabe: Sumner and Myrtle is in Bed-Stuy.

The $2600 loft is also offered on craigslist by the same broker as “for sale – $460,000″.

That $2,600/mo loft is beautiful but the area kind of sucks. No worries, that’ll change in 5yrs
