Hopefully, some more of the fine buildings further down Bushwick Ave. will also be considered in the future. If you didn't notice it, a residential district in Ridgewood also appears on the Landmark Commission's agenda. While this area has been listed as an area of historical significance, I believe this represents the initial attempt to actually landmark it. Anyhow, a very fine step in the right direction. And, landmarking it will prevent any development in it? Historically, I'm glad for the building... but I question what the value is going forward.
