Future location of LA Burrito at 67 Wilson Avenue.
Bushwick seems to have reached the point where the people with the money realize there’s a market in feeding us stranded townies. In addition to confirmed joints like Tandem, Chew and Chat, and recently opened The Wick, here are some other bits I’m working on for you:
* A coffee shop is almost certainly opening in the minimall coming to Flushing and Knickerbocker.
* In the same building, a bar and tapas place called “Isengaard” with a “relaxed but professional vibe” is also planned.
* At 67 Wilson, evidence seems to show that “LA Burrito” — maybe that place that was rumored to open on Bogart before getting bumped by the Big Tree Bottles wine shop? — will be opening. (Sorry, got this wrong before. Thanks Scot!)
* I have very spurious rumors of an upscale Italian restaurant, but I have no location or date except “some time next year.” Sorry.

I’m pretty sure LA Burrito is going in at 67 Wilson, right on the corner of Jefferson. They’ve been doing construction inside for a couple months and a sign in the window says “LA Burrito”.
