Bushwick Apartment Roundup 10/29/08

$1450 — 1.5br rr: Bright, crisp, clean, beautiful old moldings and trims, tin ceilings, wood floors, French doors. Kitchen is like most new ones in Bushwick, sadly, but you can give it a personal touch. Great location in prime Bushwick near the train, coffee, and food.

$1500 — 2br rr: Nice building on a great block near the train, also in prime Bushwick. Wood floors, good light, and “lux” kitchen salvaged from an Upper East Side apartment. Cool, young landlord lives in the building. The price is about $100 less than these places tend to go for.
CATS OK | Jefferson St and Irving | street view | Jefferson L

$1600 — 2br: Wood floors are so shiny they look liek the portal to another dimension. Other than that, good location, acceptable renovation, nice green view from the head of the block.
PETS OK | Wyckoff and Willoughby | street view | Jefferson L

$1300 — 1br: Nice large one-bedroom with wood floors and lots of light in good location.
CATS OK | Troutman and Irving | street view | Jefferson L

$900 — studio: Love a cheap studio, and honest landlord: “nothing fancy, not too shabby either.” Looks decent enough and all utilities are included. Location on brownstony Bushwick Avenue is okay, befitting of the price.

Bushwick wannabe: Listed as “Fort Greene/Bushwick.” Notice anything missing?

wow, a new low in omission-based RE advertising. i’d love to see a map of brooklyn through the eyes of brokers, 70% would be park slope alone.

…everything in between Fort Greene and Bushwick?
