We’re looking to expand our coverage of the neighborhood, and would like to take several new writers on board. We’re especially interested in people willing to contribute regular features to the site — news, food, art, reviews, fashion, architecture, history, anything you have an interest in or knack for and are willing to do at regular intervals, whether weekly or monthly. All authors have profiles which contain a short bio and contact info, and your byline will contain a link to your website, if applicable.

Writers are sought in all parts of Bushwick as well as much of Ridgewood and East Williamsburg.

Paid Writers:

If you are looking to get paid, you must have professional skills and need little editing, and come up with your own stories and subjects. Fees will only be paid for magazine-like features and frequent contributions. We very much need proper beat reporters, and are willing to pay good fees for hard news.

Photographers:

We’re looking for pushy, ballsy photographers with a nose for news and a willingness to take assignments all around the neighborhood. You’re also encouraged to come up with your own ideas for photo essays, and you need to be able to write decent captions. If you fit the bill and have the equipment, get in touch. Please have your own ideas about subjects to cover when you contact us. We will pay for excellent work.
