Tonight, art-loving Bushwickers may want to take the L to the A into town for a fabulous local artist Kevin Regan‘s opening at Artes Gallery on 38th. Psychedelic art with Ronald Reagan’s face — what else could you want?

Friday, catch some Bmore flavor at Silent Barn: Adventure, Future Islands, and GDFX or hit up Mixel Pixel and Deastro at Bodega.

Saturday, Sleep When Dead presents another Subway show — this time starting at 5pm with Louie (of Runtime Error) playing off a boombox at the end of the Times Square 7 platform and continuing on a musical journey to the World’s Fair grounds. In the evening, the always genius English Kills gallery presents Hiroshi Shafer‘s solo show “Everything Seems OK to Me” curated by Chris Harding and featuring entertainment by Superman’s Guestlist.

Sunday night, a certain local band returns to the scene of the crime to premiere their new French Movie in the lounge at Northeast Kingdom. The evening promises an hour’s worth of short films by filmmakers from Bushwick and Berlin. Cinephiles should come dressed in your finest Parisian clothes and go early for dinner!

OK gang — there you have it! Let’s get out there and make the most of fall — time is seriously flying.
