$1300 — 2br rr: Whaaaat. This price is ridiculous for a two-bedroom railroad in primest Bushwick proper, near Knickerbocker shopping, our lush central park, fine dining, good pizza, coffee, and the subway. And the place itself looks huge and totally decent. Jump on it.

$1450 — 2br: Good location north of Myrtle, and great price, especially considering utilities are included. Not the most beautiful place ever but looks solid, wood floors, big kitchen, etc.

$1000 — 1br: I’m sorry I don’t know where this is, but for this price, you should find out.
PETS OK | somewhere in Bushwick
$1300 — 1br: Looks large and has a spiffy (if small) kitchen, clean new bathroom, wood floors, in an okay spot. Is that…is that a former tenant’s testimonial? Or are those emphasis quotes?
PETS OK | Bushwick and Bleecker | street view | Kosciuszko J
$1399 — 2br: Nothing special here, and I would have that carpet torn out. Good space for the price and a quick enough walk to the Myrtle hub, not to mention Goodbye Blue Monday a block away. Some cool architecture around here, too.

Bushwick wannabe: Hot! Spacious! Not in Bushwick! And not at ALL in Williamsburg.
dishonorable mention: You want $1950 for a two-bedroom apartment and you can’t even provide a single photo? Why should anyone call you?

“Utilities included” usually means an illegal apartment.

also a “furnished living and kitchen”… sounds like a sublet…

…or a share. But as it gets closer to Halloween watch out for that first apartment – another one of those “eating” kitchens – yikes!

I used to live in the building thats in bed stuy just shy of Bushwick advertised as East Williamsburg. The block sucks, lots of projects and crime and the landlords aren’t great, they take days to respond and then even longer to fix things, but if you didn’t pay your rent on the 1st they would be sending you crazy texts and then banging on your door. The apartment also had a problem with heat and hot water, they would kick off sometimes and leave you a bit stuck.I only paid 1300 and probably could have negotiated a bit lower, the others in the building paid less. Fair warning.
