I posted a while ago in the forums entitled something like “white supremacists in bushwick?”. I mention a weird chick bad-mouthing the latin counter-person at a multi-service business and subsequently she called one of the other customers something racist, like a half-breed (alluding to him being latin I’m sure). That’s her! The creepy one, and she stinks to high hell as well, get some damn deodorant.

Jeremy speaks of me. I found that girl annoying. She immediately set off my creep radar. I acted barely cordial or interested in her endless questioning about free clothes, getting free clothes from Salvation Army, her and her artist-social cause stuff and more personal questions about me. She seems not to understand personal boundaries, that accosting someone in the street IS NOT the way to make friends in NYC.

But I applaud her comedic harassment of MTRNY (maybe I was wrong about her). Because I find MTRNY even more annoying. For years now they’ve regularly created a loud clamor in front of the Associated. Since I live in proximity to the Associated I have to put up with it — usually on Saturday or Sunday. And as far as I can tell their accusations are completely groundless! And yet they keep coming back. My impression: these are a bunch of people who have nothing better to do but get on a high horse and annoy and possibly intimidate those around them. And they don’t even do it in an interesting or original way (which, actually, I am all for). So, as I said, maybe I was wrong about this weirdo.

Also I believe that park is NOT public — it’s part of the Make the Road premises. It would certainly be ironic for MTRNY to be defending property rights only when it’s their own…

Wow, what a spectacle.
If the people filming think that’s the way they think they will ease “relations” for their cause, they are sadly mistaken.
Personally, I think the people having the party handled it pretty good, and stayed very civil, it’s the three filming that were the troublemakers.
I don’t think the people asking them to leave were practicing either “racial” or “sexual” discrimination. I think they were asked to leave, just as was mentioned….because they were being “creepy”….
