i didn’t read this whole thing- maybe the first half, but its hilarious to say that a picture of a building that anyone could have taken walking down the street is illegal to post.

gotta say, that if i had money to buy a place, based on this i wouldn’t be calling about any property you have listed.

Hahahaha I use 2 live across the street from them condos on 331 melrose n I can tell u that block is full of rats n rugrats(kids) lol I kno I grew up there 4 15yrs n I kno evry1 on that block n aint nuthin really go0d bout them cuz they built right nex 2 old factorys a fabric n taco factory I still go 2 that block n itz still the same nuthin change but da pplz movin in thatz bout it there’s more white pplz then b4

Janet, The more I read back the worse I feel for you. Where did you learn to spell? For god’s sake get a spellcheck program. Your property descriptions look hilarious! You capitalize the first letter of every word.”recieve top service”? Ever hear the rule ” i before e, except after c”? Also, there is no “real estate association” There is REBNY, which is a board. I think Dottie Herman will probably be contacted about this before the week-end is over. No matter how it plays out, this turned out to be a really ugly little adventure for you. I would stop writing on the web until you can do so without making yourself look so ridiculous. As I wrote before, yu will someday see your exclusives (if you ever get another) listed on some loser broker’s web page. Even THEN, there’s not much you can do about it. It’s a common abuse employed by fly-by-night brokerages. Anyway, I hope you land on your feet after PDE lets you go.

The sad thing is that the original post on this only brought attention to the building, and the project, and even called the building “attractive”. The only thing that would have been said here would only have been positive for the broker…as it would have gotten people talking about the listing…which is what any realtor would want, the most exposure possible, and this would have been all free.

If the listing broker would have come here and said, Hi my name is Janet, and I am representing this great condo project, please call me if you have any questions, or need information, she would have been warmly welcomed.

But instead, she came here like a Doberman in attack mode, and spouting off crap. First off, this is not a real estate site. It’s a blog of a neighborhood, and is not affiliated with any real estate except for some that may PAY for a ad. This is not an ad, the original post, from what I can determine, only asked if anyone know “what’s the deal” with this property. And then the listing broker comes here in attack dog mode, spouts off rules that ONLY effect OTHER brokers…. She is correct, ONLY the listing broker can advertise a listing….not other BROKER can “advertise” a listing….. but this site is NOT a real estate broker site, it’s a neighborhood site talking about neighborhood topics. Things for sale are neighborhood topics.

Sorry Janet, I feel for you, as your high horse attack dog behavior got you into this mess. Only you are to blame. You took something that could have ONLY benefited you, and instead destroyed it into something that makes you unfortunately look TOTALLY unprofessional and like a fool.

And that was even before using different names to attack everyone!

And if you REALLY want to see how much trouble this site would get into – ask yourself this –

Has CURBED.COM ever gotten sued for using renderings it poaches off realtor websites and from inside sources???

Never, baby. Never gonna happen, never did. That’s a pretty good barometer. And they write about this stuff all the time, on BIG projects with SERIOUS money. Enough money to sue…

but most of them consider the blog a BENEFIT to their operations.
