We all survived the excitement of BOS weekend — the cultural event of the season — and now back to our standard issue Bushwick weekend fabulousness!

Todd P has an insane roster of events listed this weekend. Friday night, following a Showpaper art show (featuring work by PFFR — the creators of genius Wonder Showzen) at the Arm Gallery in W-burg, Death by Audio hosts a Friday the 13th Zombie themed show ($2 off the door for zombies) featuring Pterodactyl among many others. Saturday night at “Jarket Jotel” (as it’s listed on Vivian Girls’ MySpace — love that) has brought back the girls with the matching bangs as well as Love is All and Cause Co-Motion. In other art news, Ad Hoc Gallery is hosting an opening Friday night of its latest show: “Poets of the Paste unites four figurative artists known for their striking images that comment on nature, contemporary society and the everyday lives we live.” For your weekend viewing enjoyment, Papa B Studios kicks off their summer movie screenings with Wet Hot American Summer (YAY!) and John Carpenter’s Cigarette Burns from the “Masters of Horror” series. Free wine and popcorn!
