The most amazing thing to me about Tyrome Tripoli’s well-kept brick house on Wilson, which he shares with his wife and 1-year-old daughter (born during last year’s BOS), is that he has a two-car garage that gives him room to do his very space-hogging art. When he apologized that his studio wasn’t all galleried-up, I said, this is Bushwick Open Studios, not Galleries — people want to see how and where the artists work.
What we saw: Industry-inspired metal sculpture, huge colored plastic installations.
