Due to a hectic work schedule (and crappy weather!), I wasn’t able to make it out into the neighborhood to find random stylish folks, so I looked in my own apartment. Ever since I’d been given this amazing opportunity to shoot Street Style for BushwickBK, I knew I wanted include my roommate. Hopefully her beauty, wit and excellent sense of style are enough to tide you over until next week.

Nice picture Sarah. Your roommate has a great face (classic, almost Betty Page-ish!) I’d like to see a series of her photos taken around some Bushwick landmark (Night shot by the cook mansion on Bushwick Avenue, etc).

Margie Dearest has the smile, style and pose down to the tee, including fashion accessory dalmatian! I have lived in Bushwick for a year and the closest I’ve seen anyone dressing this fashionable is on Sunday, when many of the older ladies and gentlemen parade Broadway in their Sunday-go-ta-meetin’ wardrobes complete with costume changes to differentiate between morning and early evening services.

i love it. It’s very rockabilly. Although the outfit wouldn’t look as good if it wasn’t for the short, blunt fringe/bangs :))
