Bushwick street art — Ad Hoc Art. (Jeremy says photo is of Bushwick dead-end Charles Place)

Twin Peakers. Bushwicker-Twin-Peakers to be exact. The guys of Bushwick Social Club love how Northeast Kingdom created a community of the similarly obsessed. Post complete with pictures of their trip to North Bend.

More than just Street Artists: Hrag Vartanian, regular contributor to the Brooklyn Rail and other publications, reviewed the recent Lady Pink and Aiko show at local gallery Ad Hoc Art. Street art evolution explained.

Rooster Coasting. Speaking of street art, here is a great piece. Speaking of roosters, there are four in the yard next to mine and they are LOUD. Also, check out this grave-guarding rooster I caught at the Linden Hill Cemetery last week.

“…fragments of hot magenta.” I used to only wear hot magenta leggings. In other news, Art Cal Zine reviewed the Judith Supine show at English Kills Gallery on Forrest Street and used beautifully descriptive words. You’ll feel like you were there. Impose thought the show was “gonzo.”

Exposé. Village Voice (who recently ran the dumbest billboard campaign ever in an attempt to reclaim their coolness of long ago) thought they were giving props to Harket Motel, Silent Barn, and Showpaper in an article titled “Brooklyn, a Place to Impress Strangers.” Perhaps advertising DIY joints in a corporate owned newspaper with a readership of millions isn’t the best idea.
