#1 — $2300 — 2br: This has two boxed bedrooms, but has an area that can be subdivided into two more rooms. I recently was taken on a tour of this building, and was so impressed with the renovation. The place is just endless space and has a great split layout for roommates. The building has a decent-enough new brick facade and is equipped with security cameras that can be viewed by the tenants online. This is a huge duplex apartment that opens onto a common back yard where in the spring, the super grows veggies. In addition to all this great stuff, the landlord is a nice guy who has stewarded this building for 30 years and truly cares for his tenants.

#2 — $1700 — 2br: Pretty decent renovation in the Arion dorm district. Nice big kitchen, shiny wood floors, no idea what benefit there is to the glass shower doors being “heavy,” but to each his own.

#3 — $1150 — 2br rr: Shockingly cheap even for a railroad, considering it’s been cleaned up pretty well, though I’m going to stop short of the owner’s claim that it’s “renovated.” It might have a new bathroom, but there are no photos of it, leading me to believe it does not. I suppose it is a bit far out on the J.

#4 — $1450 — 2br rr: Nice looking basic railroad with wood floors. Convenient North Bushwick corner.

#5 — $1600 — loft: 850sqft is nothing to sniff at. Wood floors, brick walls, nice new kitchen and bath, 14′ ceilings.

Dishonorable mention: I know aptsandlofts.com’s thing is to take regular old stuff and add 20% to the price, but — is that the projects across the street from this $2700 2″.5″-bedroom apartment? I can’t know for sure, because there is no hint as to the possible address.
