Bushwick Apartment Roundup 7/12/07

#1 — $1350/$1650 — 1 and 2 bedrooms: These are really nice apartments, beautiful modern kitchens and bathrooms, big windows PETS OK “Two blocks from Halsey J” 1br | 2br

#2 — $1300 — 2 bedroom: It’s a railroad but it’s renovated pretty nicely. Wood floors, everything inside looks new, but can’t tell for sure. Great location right by all of Knickerbocker’s good stuff, pretty much on top of the M and a quick walk to the L. Harman and Knickerbocker

#3 — $1050 — 1 bedroom: Super cheap, great location right in the middle of all Knickerbocker has to offer, two blocks to the L. CATS OK DeKalb and Knickerbocker

#4 — $1150 — 2 bedroom: One room is a “kid’s room or study” but this is still a really good price for two boxed bedrooms. Looks decent, and those are some shiny floors. Down by the Halsey J. Someone should tell these people that you don’t advertise proximity to 99 cent stores no matter who your clients will be. PETS OK Eldert and Bushwick

#5 — $1000 — studio: I don’t know if 400sqft should be considered a “huge” studio, but maybe it has a really efficient layout. Decent location, close to Kosciuszko J, eat-in kitchen, which may be one of the “two” rooms. PETS OK Stanhope and Bushwick

OMFG mention: it’s actually a nice-looking apartment but the ad is total gag material. I mean…come ON.

Yep. The mansion is still for rent.

Had to click through (I read you through Bloglines) to say BARF to your OMFG mention.

    BarfBarfBarfBarf.

    :)

Ugh I just read it again. Ugh! “Minutes to the Brooklyn Museum”…like, in a car? It’s almost easier to teleport to Prospect Park area than take public transportation.

Also, I just though to look at the location.

This is right up the projects’ ass. Good luck, losers.

jesus christ. i think they hired the ad firm who came up with those lame bus-shelter ads (”Newly-Acceptable Neighborhood, You Rule!”) on the plus side, they did use the possessive form of the word “its” properly, which i almost never see.

500 sf isn’t bad for a studio but here in the land of lofts, they should probably rethink their wording.

re: Eldert/Bushwick apt: yes, but there are SO MANY 99 stores near there! each one more exotic than the last! and i don’t know of any laundromats right around there, when i first moved i looked and looked and then i got a washer and stopped looking.

I think I saw ads from that same guy as the OMFG ad when I was looking for apartments last year. Vomit, vomit, vomit. What an effing douche. How can you get through the bull to even look at the apartment?

You know, looking at current ads though, I am so happy that I got into my place last year when I did. It’s terrifying to see what is basically my apartment, further out on the L, further from the train station, and going for 30-50% more than I pay. And I have a 99 cent store only a block away, with 99 cent Pringles.

wow that is something amazing ad. but it looks like there are some nice apts. out there. wonder if they are really available.

i walk past the manion all the time, i think there is another one out there for sale, it’s near myrtle and bushwick ave. and is next to KFC. Anyone know anything about this one?

  6. Jeremy says:

    Yeah, it’s the Cook Mansion.
