#1 — $1650 — loft: This place is awesome — look at those exposed brick walls, that slick renovation, the beamed ceilings. Two short blocks to the Halsey J PETS OK Hancock and Broadway
#2 — $2225 — 2 bedroom loft: Loft right by the Morgan L in the Office Ops building. Some cool finishes, Manhattan views, great wood floors, bigass roof deck, secured entry. CATS OK Thames and Morgan
#3 — $2300 — 3 bedroom loft: Massive walls of windows in an old knitting factory. Looks a little raggedy but seems like great space for the price and it’s 1/2 block to the DeKalb L. PETS OK Hart and Wyckoff
#4 — $1550 — loft: Great location a block from the Myrtle JMZ, floor-through, balcony, good light. PETS OK Ditmars and Broadway
#5 — $1300 — 2 bedroom: This place looks nice, even though it’s a railroad. Good location very close to the Jefferson L, a block from the supermarket and the park on Knickerbocker. Simple place, sweet details. CATS OK Troutman and Knickerbocker

Any idea what they mean by pressure walls? This area is close to Broadway at Halsey Street. I know there is a dunkin doughnuts there. All the loft apts. look great and good for the price as long as the apts. are really available. One development on Eldert St. and Bushwick Avenue advertised apts. – near Jimmy Leg’s house – but whenever I called I could never get someone to show up for the apt. to see the apts. And they advertised like crazy.
Apt. #2 what is that odd thing above the kitchen. Please don’t tell me it’s a sleep loft. Perhaps a chicken coop for your morning eggs?!
These are great finds and really shows Bushwick has something to offer.

Wow, I have no idea, actually…maybe pressure walls are liek a shower curtain bar, they just stay up from the tension of the posts supporting them against the floor and ceiling? That’s actually kind of cool.

Yes, it is interesting how people make walls these days. I think it’s a shame how many homes are probably insulated on the floors and the ceilings. You can hear your neighbor drop even a fork on the floor!
And you’ve given me an idea not to use regular tile on the bathroom floor but slate looking tile! Much more modern looking.
Maybe the pressure treated walls is that chicken coop looking things in apt. #2 above the kitchen! One huge pressure cooker!
