This Weekend: Bushwick Open Studios
Do not forget: starting tomorrow night, it’s Bushwick Open Studios, mass neighborhood art show! Bushwick artists all over the hood, from Morgantown to the Evergreens, will be baring their studios for the public to poke around inside. Other cool and kooky events are planned around the art, and yes, this weekend a small but central bit of Knickerbocker will see more hipster traffic than it has ever seen up to this point.
Make sure to remind your friends and send the link out — art makes the world a better place, and those who make it need our support! Plus it looks pretty cool.

Hi,
Nice stuff happening here.
Wasn’t there supposed to be some kind of Historical Bushwick exhibit or what. If so, can you please give us the scoop.
Thanks again for this great place
I didn’t go, sorry. If it were in the hood would be easier but I just don’t have the time. If someone wants to make the trip and write a bit about it and take some pictures, I’ll be more than happy to post it here.
crap, it slipped my mind, but the exhibit will be up for a while, it’s at the brooklyn historical society.
hipsters are on knickerbocker. we travel in pax. often clandestinely.
I watched the parade entering MH Park from Knickerbocker. It was cool. There was not a non-white face to be found in the proceedings which disappointed me. Nothing I can do about that though. There were some interesting costumes and get-ups. Very cool to watch it from my apartment window especially. We’re currently redoing the floors and painting. My move in date is 6/19. I wish it was over already actually. LOL
Sorry to say I decided to finish my patio this weekend and just hang out at the gallery-slash-BBQ next door instead of going around. By the time I decided to go see a few studios (on my way to the Knick-Starr Associated to get BBQ stuff), the one on Wilson was closed cuz I guess someone had a baby. It’s a girl.
Who else went?
