The Grove Street place is depressingly ugly. I can't believe how bad it looks. I didn't think it would be possible for a private development to feel less inviting than public housing projects...and be nearly as ugly. I haven't been inside yet, but for sure I can't see myself making a special trip. Anyway, thanks for the nice note! There is a monster of a building on Grove Street. I do wonder though how much these developments will really change the hood in a big way.....Bushwick is a HUGE place. The people who are moving into pricey condos will want amenities that aren't in place yet. How long until that happens do you reckon? You're right about Knickerbocker....that street rules.
